The Cux 87 "Krabbenkutter" finished ship gallery

The Cux 87 "Krabbenkutter is finished.....I am so pleased as to how it came out.  it is a mix of the kit itself, and embellishments that I have made myself......both in thought and aspects that I have seen.  this is my first finished wooden kit, and I wish to thank Tom Richardson @ Billing Boats for the opportunity to build such a fine craft.  I am a relative newbie at the craft itself, but this gentleman saw enough in me, to entrust me with the charge, to build such a craft for him.  I was hesitant at first, but his assessment of my work on the Nordkap, convinced me to take on the project.  I was to supply him with build logs, to choreograph the steps I took to build this fine craft, with pictures, as well as with words.  I feel as though I have done just that.....in description of everything I did, to taking over 611 pictures of the craft in it's evolution.  I thank you Tom, I feel you have been with me the whole step of the way.  my introduction to wooden ships may have been the Nordkap......sending me down the runway, but your involvement of my building of the Cux, has given me flight!   Thank You!

                                      I give you......The Cux 87 "Krabbenkutter"

This ship was so much fun to build, and the thoughts ran through my head like a waterfall!  I can say that I have never experienced a build like this before......simply superb!!...   if you ever need to have another one done for you.......keep me in mind!  I don't have a bottle of champagne to break on the bow.....I feel that is a terrible waste of good hooch........I think I can find a better way to celebrate!

     thanks again Tom...........cheers!
